Individual Psychotherapy

client-centered psychotherapy

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, sensitive, empathic, resource-oriented and holistic.

What does this mean exactly?

I perceive people as a construct of body, mind and soul in constant interaction with themselves and their surroundings.

I think that each moment in life can be used as a new opportunity to define one’s self and to orient ourselves from anew.

My conviction is that each person holds the inspiration, motivation and answers for their path in themselves and that each person knows inherently, what’s best for themselves.

Sometimes this knowledge can slither away in certain phases of our lives and there can be the need to work on ourselves to activate or reactivate our resources and abilities to find a way how we want to proceed with our lives.

To work on finding out one’s current needs and what’s good and helpful for one’s self can have a productive, soothing and healing effect.

Throughout this process, establishing and encouraging the concepts of self-acceptance, self-compassion and mindfulness can have a highly positive effect on the body, mind and soul and it can help unfold one’s personality and even heal old wounds.

I would be happy to guide and assist you on your journey of finding ways how to help yourself, which are realistic and authentic for you and help you create a new balance in your life.

I work with a variety of complementary treatment methods and approaches and I’m continuing to educate myself about new scientific findings and therapeutic techniques.
